Google Home updates control interface for older Nest Thermostat models

The Google Home app is now starting to receive updated controls for the Nest Learning Thermostat, and it appears that this also applies to older models.

The new interface offers more accurate information and more user-friendly controls, including a display of the current temperature, humidity, and the ability to adjust the temperature without going to a separate page.

While the new design was expected to be exclusive to the new thermostat model, Android Police users have noticed that the updated interface has also appeared on older models, such as the Nest Thermostat E. This allows for an updated look and feel without the need to upgrade the hardware.

It is worth noting that the new Nest Learning Thermostat from Google is already available for pre-order for $279, and it will start shipping later this month.
