OnePlus announces major ColorOS update for OnePlus 12 in China

OnePlus has released a major ColorOS update for the OnePlus 12 in China, which is version PJD110_14.0.0.840 and is approximately 1.31GB in size. The new features include a Do Not Disturb NFC mode that prevents interruptions when using NFC, and a new audio switcher that shows playback information directly on the phone's status bar.

Here's What We Know

The update also improves the long screenshot feature, making it more seamless, and speeds up WeChat QR code scanning. It also improves the accuracy of NFC card recognition.

The changes include Android security patches for August 2024 and provides improved control over device movement permissions.

Earlier this year, OnePlus added AI features such as AI Summariser for call summaries and AIGC Remover for photo editing.

The OnePlus 12, which was released last December, features a 6.82-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, up to 24GB of RAM, and a triple camera setup with a 50MP sensor.
