Anker introduces Anker Prime GaN charger with 250W and six ports

Anker has announced the new Anker Prime, a gallium nitride (GaN) charger that has a unique total output power of 250W. It is now available in select markets such as the US and the UK.

Here's What We Know

The model includes six ports: four USB-C and two USB-A. The first USB-C port delivers up to 140W, allowing you to charge your MacBook Pro 16 up to 50% in just 25 minutes and fully charge it in 1.5 hours.

The charger features a 2.26-inch LCD display that shows the charging status, as well as the time and date. On the sides is a control disc that allows you to select one of four charging modes: AI Power, Low Current, Port Priority and Dual-Laptop. These modes adapt to different needs, including intelligent settings and priority charging.

The Anker Prime GaN charger is priced at $169.99 in the US, £169.99 in the UK, and €159.99 in the EU. It will be available in the US, UK and EU markets from 25 August. Anker is also offering a discount of up to $30 on the first run.
