Insider: vivo X200 Pro will get Sony's new 22nm sensor with 50 MP resolution
We have already written more than once that the company vivo is working on a flagship line of smartphones X200. Now new details about the top model of the lineup have appeared on the Internet.
Here's What We Know
According to the insider Digital Chat Station, the manufacturer plans to improve the camera vivo X200 Pro. Therefore, the company will install in the device a new 22-nanometre Sony sensor with a resolution of 50 MP. For comparison, the current model vivo X100 Pro comes with a Sony IMX989 sensor, which is built on a 40nm process.
The new CMOS sensor will be slightly smaller at 1/1.28 inches. But it will also have a larger aperture - f/1.57. This will allow more light to penetrate, improving the overall image quality. Apart from the main sensor, the vivo X200 Pro should also have a 200 MP periscopic sensor and a 50 MP wide-angle lens.
It is also known that the vivo X200 Pro will get a 120Hz OLED panel with curved edges, a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip and a 6000mAh battery.
When We Can Expect It
If rumours are to be believed, the vivo X200 Pro will debut along with the other models in the series in October.
