Axe and sword in one weapon: Capcom has shown off the capabilities of the Charge Blade from Monster Hunter Wilds

Capcom continues to introduce gamers to the arsenal available in the fantasy action game Monster Hunter Wilds.

Earlier the developers presented Great Sword, Heavy Bowgun, two-handed melee weapon Insect Glaive, interesting Gunlance, dangerous Hunting Horn and Long Sword.

Here's What We Know

In the new trailer, the Japanese studio demonstrated the capabilities of Charge Blade - a variable weapon consisting of several parts.

Initially, the player receives Charge Blade as a one-handed sword and a sturdy shield, but as he strikes and fills up his Phials, the hero can transform the weapon into a huge two-handed axe, whose blows are slow but extremely destructive.

In both sword and axe modes, the Charge Blade is suitable for a wide variety of situations, making it a versatile weapon.

When We Can Expect It

Monster Hunter Wilds is expected to release in 2025 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.

It has already been stated that Capcom will attend gamescom 2024 and reveal details about the game.
