July games and consoles sales chart in the UK: EA Sports FC 24 and PlayStation 5 remain favourites among games and consoles
July did not boast of any high-profile releases, so what did gamers buy the most in the second month of summer?
Here's What We Know
EA Sports FC 24 was the best-selling game of July in the UK, which is not surprising given the European Football Championship that took place in the first half of the month.
Grand Theft Auto 5 is in second place, and Elden Ring took bronze. Hogwarts Legacy took the fourth place, and Red Dead Redemption 2 rounded out the top five.
Sixth place went to Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn, and only on the 7th place can you finally see the new release - EA Sports College Football 25.
The 8th, 9th and 10th places went to F1 24, NBA 2K24 and Luigi's Mansion 2 HD.
Just over 77,000 consoles were also sold in July. This is 30% less than in the same period in 2023.
The PS5 remains No. 1 despite a 31% drop in sales compared to the previous month, the Switch moved up to No. 2 after a 9% drop in sales, while the Xbox Series falls to No. 3 after a 19% drop in sales.
