From 0 to 100 per cent in 4 minutes 30 seconds: realme has unveiled its 320W SuperSonic fast charging technology
Realme held an event in China to show off its new proprietary fast charging technology.
Here's What We Know
The technology was named realme SuperSonic Charge. According to the manufacturer, it was developed for two years. All this period realme spent on research, which allowed to find the perfect balance between high power, compact size and safety.
SuperSonic Charge is capable of charging a 4420 mAh battery by 26% in just one minute. It will charge the battery by 50% in less than two minutes. A full charge cycle takes 4 minutes and 30 seconds.
Especially for this type of charging, realme has developed the AirGap foldable battery with voltage transformer. It features advanced contactless electromagnetic conversion. In the event of a circuit break, it ensures that the high voltage remains isolated from the battery. The battery has four cells that charge simultaneously. Each cell is less than 3 mm thick.

When We Can Expect It
Unfortunately, realme is not yet saying when SuperSonic Charge will hit the market. The technology probably shouldn't be expected in smartphones before 2025 at the earliest.
