$10bn contract: Poland buys 96 AH-64E Apache attack helicopters from the US
The Polish government has signed a contract with the US government for the supply of AH-64E Apache attack helicopters.

The information was shared by the publication Defence24. We are talking about 96 helicopters worth $10 billion. The contract also includes additional equipment, spare parts and various weapons. All helicopters will be delivered with modern technologies and Apache Guardian radar.
Incidentally, Poland will become the second largest operator of the AH-64E Apache after the US. The first deliveries of helicopters will start in 2028. The contract is planned to be fulfilled until 2032.

The AH-64E Apache is an advanced version of Boeing's legendary AH-64 Apache attack helicopter. The helicopter is designed to fight in challenging environments and perform a variety of missions, including armoured target destruction, air support of troops and reconnaissance. The AH-64E is powered by General Electric T700-GE-701D engines.
The AH-64E Apache has an advanced fire control system, active phased array radars and advanced sensors to effectively detect and destroy targets at long ranges. It can carry a variety of weapons including Hellfire missiles, unguided rockets and a 30mm cannon. The AH-64E is also integrated with unmanned aerial vehicles, enhancing its reconnaissance and strike capabilities.
