Fail-safe combination: Capcom reveals the benefits of the Sword and Shield in Monster Hunter Wilds action game

Capcom continues to introduce gamers to the weapons that will be available in the fantasy action game Monster Hunter Wilds.

Here's What We Know

This time the focus is on one of the most popular and familiar combinations - Sword & Shield.

This set of equipment is familiar to every gamer and does not need long explanations. But in Monster Hunter it has some interesting features: the shield is in the right hand and is actively used not only for defence, but also for making powerful blows to the enemy, while the sword is used for quick cutting blows. And during the attacks, the hero does not lose mobility and at any moment can dodge. In addition, the shield is used even during the activation of other items, for example, using a healing potion can successfully expose the block.

• Capcom revealed the features of Insect Glaive, a fast two-handed weapon from Monster Hunter Wilds;

When We Can Expect It

Monster Hunter Wilds is expected to release in 2025 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
