The grim shooter Witchfire from the creators of Painkiller and Bulletstorm has received a major update to The Wailing Tower and will soon be released on Steam

Developers from the Polish studio The Astronauts, founded by Adrian Chmielarz - one of the creators of the famous shooters Painkiller and Bulletstorm - announced two important news about Witchfire.

Here's What We Know

The grim shooter Witchfire is in Early Access on Epic Games Store, but in the fourth quarter of 2024 the game will be released on Steam. The shooter's page is already available there and you can add it to your wishlist.

And today Witchfire received a major update The Wailing Tower, in which the developers added a new extensive location Isle of the Damned, where the above-mentioned tower is located. There, players can expect challenges, unseen enemies, additional weapons, valuable equipment and new abilities.

In honour of the patch release, The Astronauts released a spectacular trailer showing what Witchfire has to offer at the moment, and we must admit that in less than a year in Early Access the developers have managed to significantly diversify Witchfire gameplay and fill the game with interesting mechanics.

We sincerely hope that Polish game designers will continue in the same spirit and realise all their ideas.

By the way, Witchfire shooter is available at EGS with 20% discount.
