Samsung unveiled the new budget Galaxy A06: new Key Island bezel and improved 90Hz display
Samsung has officially unveiled its new budget smartphone Galaxy A06, which gets Key Island and an updated display.
Here's What We Know
The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor, just like its predecessor Galaxy A05. The main camera has a 50 MP resolution and the 5,000 mAh battery supports 25W fast charging. The Galaxy A06 is available in two variants, with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of inbuilt storage.
One of the key updates is a new design with Key Island bezels and an improved display. The screen retains the 6.7-inch size but now supports 90Hz refresh rate instead of 60Hz. The smartphone comes with the latest version of Android 14 operating system.
The Galaxy A06 will be available in Vietnam from 22 August to 30 September, priced at VND3,190,000 (about US$127) for the 4GB RAM model and VND3,790,000 (about US$151) for the 6GB variant. Early buyers will get a 25W charger for free. There's no word yet on the device's launch in other markets.
