Viewsonic unveils M1X and M1S portable projectors with Cinema SuperColor+ technology and improved battery life
Viewsonic has announced two new portable projectors: M1X and M1S. Both models have 480p resolution and 360 nits brightness, but there are a few key differences.
Technical Characteristics
The Viewsonic M1X differs from the M1S in that it supports Bluetooth for audio and can monitor the screen via Wi-Fi. Both devices weigh about 800 grams and come with a three-in-one smart bracket that allows 360º projection.
Built-in 3W Harman Kardon speakers provide high-quality sound. Connectivity is available via USB-C, USB-A 2.0, HDMI 1.4 and 3.5mm audio jack.
The Viewsonic M1X and Viewsonic M1S are equipped with a 1200mAh battery, support keystone correction and use Cinema SuperColor+ technology to enhance image quality. They cover 125% of the Rec.709 colour gamut and have a contrast ratio of 120,000:1, with a projection distance of 0.64 to 2.66 metres and a maximum size of 100 inches.
The projectors can be used with game consoles and for mobile phone mirroring.
Pricing and release dates for the M1X and M1S have not yet been announced, but the M1X is expected to cost more.
