Ukraine is developing its own Inguar-3 armoured combat vehicle to compete with US equipment
A video from Inguar Defence shows the Ukrainian Azov Brigade testing new Ukrainian armoured vehicles, the Inguar-3.
Here's What We Know
"Equipped with an independent suspension, differential lock, tyre inflation system and electronic warfare devices, the vehicle has withstood the harsh realities of modern combat," the company said.
It is worth noting that the Inguard was introduced earlier this year. The vehicle was developed by the Special Forces of Ukraine to "meet the requirements of wartime".
The vehicle has a 356 horsepower engine, multiple cameras and night vision capabilities, as well as steel and aluminium armour that protects passengers without adding much weight.
Until now, Ukraine has relied on Western-supplied MRAPs, such as the US-made MaxxPro, to fight Russia's invasion. These vehicles have played a key role in protecting Ukrainian troops from mines and other explosives on the frontline. It is likely that Ukraine has received more than 1,160 armoured vehicles from its allies.
