Nintendo will release a demo of Emio's new detective game, The Smiling Man

Nintendo will release Emio - The Smiling Man at the end of August, which will be a sequel to the 35-year-old (!) Famicom Detective Club game.

The company said that everyone will be able to familiarise themselves with the novelty before its release.

Here's What We Know

In a few days Emio - The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club demo will be released, and the Japanese didn't take the easy way here.

The developers divided the demo into three parts, which will be released in a few days. Thus, the first chapter will be available on 20 August from 3:00 (CEST), and two will be published on 23 and 28 August at the same time.

Please note!!! When you install the first chapter, the next two will be downloaded automatically, and the progress gained in the trial version can be transferred to the full game.

As a reminder, the plot of Emio - The Smiling Man: Famicom Detective Club is based on a Japanese urban legend. It tells about a mysterious man who appeared near crying girls, killed them, and left a paper bag with a drawn smile on his head.

Players will take on the role of an assistant private detective who helps the police solve the creepy case.

When We Can Expect It
