The show is getting closer! Spectacular "Hype Trailer" of gamescom 2024 Opening Night Live unveiled

One of the biggest gaming shows of the year - Opening Night Live - will take place on the 20th of August, which will mark the beginning of gamescom 2024.

Two hours of bright and unexpected announcements, interesting shows, interviews with famous game designers and much more await the audience.

The gamescom 2024 is attracting a lot of attention from the public, journalists and developers, but the organiser of Opening Night Live has additionally fuelled the interest.

Here's What We Know

Showman, producer and permanent host of Opening Night Live Geoff Keighley published a traditional for his shows hype trailer, which, of course, does not show the main surprises, but beautifully selected and edited footage of already presented, but not yet released new products, which are sure to be presented at gamescom.

By the way, there is a legend that Keeley edits all the hype trailers by himself! We don't know if it's true or not, but the video was really spectacular and showed only a small part of what the audience will see at Opening Night Live:

  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 6
  • Monster Hunter Wilds
  • Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
  • Little Nightmares III
  • DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO
  • Batman: Arkham Shadow
  • Dune Awakening
  • Marvel Rivals
  • Squid Game: Unleashed
  • new game from Tarsier Studios (creators of Little Nightmares)
  • Sid Meier's Civilisation VII
  • Kingdom Come Deliverance II
  • Lost Records: Bloom & Rage
  • Mecha BREAK.

Unfortunately for many gamers, they definitely won't be seeing Hollow Knight: Silksong - Abandon all hope: no new Hollow Knight: Silksong trailer will be unveiled at the gamescom 2024 opening ceremony

Opening Night Live kicks off on 20 August at 20:00 (CEST), with the main part of the show taking place from 21-25 August in Cologne, Germany.
