Redmi 12C gets HyperOS update in August

Redmi 12C has started receiving the August HyperOS update, which includes important optimisations and performance improvements. It is currently available for Global ROM and will be rolled out to all regions soon.

The Redmi 12C smartphone, known for its affordable price and powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, will now run faster and more stable with the new software version.

Initially released with MIUI 13 based on Android 12, the Redmi 12C has received the latest HyperOS update, which is based on Android 14. The August update has a build number of OS1.0.6.0.UCVMIXM and a size of 393MB, and improves system security and stability.

The innovation is available for pilot testers, and soon it will be rolled out to all users.
