Google is testing a new feature on Discover for film and TV series lovers

Google is planning to add a new feature to its Discover feed that will provide updates on new and upcoming films and TV shows.

This information was found in the code of the latest beta update of the Google app (version 15.32.37.28) and activated in advance by the Android Authority team. If you enable the "Movies and TV Shows" option, a new card will appear at the top of the feed, below the search bar. For films, it will display the title, duration and a small preview of the poster.

It will also indicate whether the film is in theatres or where you can watch it. It's not yet known what the card for TV shows will look like, but it will likely be similar to the card for films.

As of now, this update has not been officially released and it is unknown when it will be available. However, this feature could be useful for those who love films and TV shows and don't want to miss out on new releases.
