The Dark Pictures anthology will get a new game - Directive 8020, which will tell the story of a crew surviving in space

The Supermassive Massive studio is known for The Dark Pictures anthology, which tells various creepy stories. And at Opening Night Live 2024, we were shown a teaser of a new interactive film.

Here's What We Know

The game is subtitled Directive 8020. Events will take place in space, which will be a novelty for the franchise. We will be introduced to the crew of the Cassiopeia, which is being hunted by an alien organism that can imitate its prey. And the heroes must outwit the infection to return home alive.

The player's choice, as in the previous games in the series, will influence the plot and determine which characters will survive and which will remain in space forever.

When We Can Expect It

Directive 8020 will be released in 2025 on PC, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5.
