Circle to Search music search available for select Galaxy phones
The Circle to Search AI feature introduced by Google earlier this year is now available on some Samsung Galaxy smartphones.
Here's What We Know
The option was initially available for a limited number of devices, including the Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel. Recently, a post on Reddit confirmed that Circle to Search has received a new music search element on Galaxy S23 smartphones. The user noted that the feature appeared after the Google app was updated to version 15.32.37.28.
Here's How It Works
Circle to Search allows you to identify music that is playing on your phone or nearby, and even songs sung by the user. The music search button appears in the form of a musical note after Circle to Search is activated. A similar feature already existed in Google Assistant called Google Song Search, but the new enhancement may be integrated with a future update to Gemini.
The latest changes indicate the possibility of a significant impact on popular third-party apps such as Shazam, which have similar features.
