Insider: OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro will be unveiled later this year

OnePlus is gearing up to launch two new smartphones in the Ace 5 series - Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro. According to a leak from a reliable source Digital Chat Station, the launch is expected in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Here's What We Know

The Ace 5 will be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, while the Ace 5 Pro will get the yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, which will be unveiled at Qualcomm's annual Snapdragon Summit on 24 October. This makes a series launch in October unlikely, with the devices likely to be released in November or December.

The Ace 5 will feature a 6.78-inch curved-edge OLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and notification slider. The smartphone is expected to get a 50 MP triple camera and will run on Android 15-based OxygenOS 15. The device will have a 6,000mAh battery with 100W fast charging support, but no wireless charging. The device is also rumoured to have a ceramic body. Details about the Ace 5 Pro are still unknown, but it is likely that it will have similar specs to the Ace 5.
