Marvel Rivals will be released on 6 December for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC

NetEase Games has announced the official release date of the 6v6 multiplayer competitive game Marvel Rivals - it will be 6 December. The company also published a new trailer showing two rivals - Captain America and Winter Soldier:

Bucky Barnes, the infamous Winter Soldier, takes his place among the villains. Armed with a pistol for mid-range combat, he can also use his metal arm to pull enemies close for devastating melee attacks.

On the side of good, Steve Rogers, the legendary Captain America, enters the fray with his iconic shield. The shield can be used to block blows and deflect them back at enemies, or it can be thrown as a projectile that ricochets and falls from above.

NetEase has confirmed that all heroes will be unlocked and available for free play at launch and in future updates. However, specific plans for seasons and post-launch content remain under wraps.
