Nvidia will allow Xbox accounts to be linked to GeForce Now to automatically log into games
Tomorrow (22 August), Nvidia will introduce a new feature to GeForce Now that will allow users to seamlessly access Xbox games on GeForce Now. By linking their Xbox accounts, users will be able to automatically sign in to supported games, eliminating the need for repeated logins.
Here's What We Know
This feature builds on the existing Xbox game library sync, which allows GeForce Now users to access Xbox Game Pass and Microsoft Store games in their cloud-based current library. Previously, while users could access Xbox titles, they had to manually authenticate each time. Now, this process has been greatly simplified.
These improvements come shortly after Microsoft integrated GeForce Now into its Xbox game pages, giving users the option to choose between Xbox Cloud Gaming and Nvidia's service when playing games online.
This close collaboration between Nvidia and Microsoft is based on a 10-year agreement that allows Nvidia to license Xbox games, including those from Activision Blizzard, to GeForce Now.
