Special trailer of RPG-shooter Atomfall showed atmospheric locations of post-nuclear Britain and revealed the release date of the new game from the creators of Sniper Elite

Rebellion studio, known as the author of the popular Sniper Elite franchise, presented a new trailer of the shooter with RPG elements Atomfall, which was announced in early summer and stylistically reminded gamers of Fallout. The game has a similar visual style and atmosphere, because in the world of Atomfall there was also a nuclear disaster, but instead of the American Wasteland players will find themselves in the ruins of Great Britain.

Here's What We Know

In the trailer, timed to gamescom 2024 exhibition, the developers showed atmospheric locations of ruined Britain, people who despite all the dangers live in these places, several shootouts and general aesthetics of retrofuturism. But there was no nuclear war in this universe - the accident at the Windscale nuclear power station was to blame.

Another similarity with Fallout can be seen in the design of robots and mechanical devices: like in Bethesda's franchise, in Atomfall they are made in a deliberately grotesque design and attract a lot of attention.

When We Can Expect It

In the video Rebellion revealed the release date of Atomfall - March 2025. The game will be available on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and will be available on Game Pass from day one,
