Sharkmob, the developer of the upcoming extraction shooter Exoborne, recently shared new details about the game in an interview with developers at the Future Games Show. The studio's co-founders Martin Hultberg and Petter Mannerfelt, along with executive producer Brynley Gibson, spoke about various aspects of the game, including its setting, story and gameplay.

Exoborne is set in a different time period where humanity is facing an impending climate catastrophe. In a desperate attempt to save the planet, they initiated the Renaissance Project, which had the opposite effect and led to an even greater catastrophe. Players will find themselves in a mysterious conflict, the story of which unravels as they delve deeper into the game.
