Netflix has shown another teaser for the R-rated animated series Twilight of the Gods about Norse mythology, created by Zack Snyder
Back in 2021, Netflix announced the animated series Twilight of the Gods about Norse mythology, created by director Zack Snyder, known for 300 Spartans, Rebel Moon, and Batman v Superman. The premiere will take place this September, but Netflix has shown another teaser.
Here's What We Know
The plot takes place in a small Viking village where the king and his queen want to get married. At the wedding, an event happens to them that forces Sigrid, the bride-to-be, who is the child of giants, to go on a crazy revenge mission. She recruits a team of characters to join her, who unite in a group with one mission: to find the god and fight him.
The teaser shows such Norse gods as Thor and Loki. Other creatures of Norse mythology were also depicted, such as dragons, draugr, and giants.
Twilight of the Gods will also have an "R" rating, and this is evident in the teaser itself: there is a lot of blood, foul language and sex scenes, so the animated series is suitable for a more adult audience.
When We Can Expect It
Twilight of the Gods will be released on Netflix on 19 September 2024. The series will have eight episodes.
