The first information about the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim's cameras and its possible announcement date has surfaced

Our colleagues from GalaxyClub have discovered the first details about the camera of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim, as well as information about the possible presentation date of the device.

Here's What We Know

This smartphone, model number SM-F958N, will feature a slimmer design compared to the regular version of the Galaxy Fold 6. In the folded state, its thickness will be about 10 mm, which is 2 mm less than the standard Fold 6.

According to the latest information, the new product will get a 10-megapixel external front camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, similar to the ones used in the regular version. However, for the first time since the Galaxy Fold 3 was launched, Samsung plans to improve the under-display camera (UDC), which is embedded under the main foldable display.

Instead of a 4-megapixel camera like previous models, the Fold 6 Slim will get a 5-megapixel UDC. The main cameras, including the main and telephoto cameras, remain unknown for now.

The device is expected to feature a 6.5-inch external screen and an 8-inch internal display, which is larger than the standard version. The Fold 6 Slim is scheduled to launch on 25 September, according to The Chosun Daily, but it will only be available in South Korea and possibly China. In Europe, this model will most likely not be sold.
