In the ranking, which covers smartphones costing between $600 and $800, the Pixel 9 outperformed models such as the Pixel 8 and iPhone 15, scoring 154 points against 148 for the Pixel 8 and 145 for the iPhone 15. Despite the small difference in scores, the Pixel 9's camera offers excellent performance, including high quality photos, excellent background blurring, and efficient zooming.

Overall, the Pixel 9's camera ranks seventh in the global rankings, which include both premium and ultra-premium devices such as the Pixel 9 Pro XL and iPhone 15 Pro Max. It is important to note that the Pixel 9 Pro XL came in second place with a score of 158 points. The leader of the global ranking is Huawei Pura 70 Ultra with 163 points.
