Garmin Fenix 8 series will have larger AMOLED displays and new design

According to the latest rumours, Garmin is planning to upgrade the Fenix 8 series of smartwatches with significant improvements in design and functionality. The main change is the transition from MIP displays to new AMOLED screens, which will provide a brighter and clearer image.

Here's What We Know

The new Fenix 8 watches are expected to have larger displays than their Fenix 7 predecessors. The Fenix 8 series will be available in three case sizes: 43 mm, 47 mm, and 51 mm, with the new 43 mm variant being a difference from the previous series.

The display sizes will increase to 1.3 inches for the 43 mm version, 1.4 inches for the 47 mm model and 1.5 inches for the 51 mm variant.

Visually, the new Fenix 8 series will have thinner bezels around the display, which will reduce the bezel size and increase the screen area. The watches are expected to hit the market in early September.
