MacRumors: Apple will release a stable version of macOS Sequoia along with iOS 18

Apple showed the macOS Sequoia operating system at WWDC 2024 at the beginning of the summer, and now the company is preparing a stable version of the software for release.

Here's What We Know

According to our colleagues from MacRumors, Apple is going to release macOS Sequoia in mid-September. That is, the firmware will be released together with iOS 18. For comparison, last years new versions of macOS were released later than iOS (in October or November).

Flashback

Sequoia's macOS boasts a Mac iPhone remote control feature, allowing users to view and control their smartphone through the computer screen without leaving the apps. The software also includes the new Apple Passwords app that works on Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Vision Pro and even Windows via iCloud. This app allows you to securely store and manage passwords. More macOS Sequoia includes improved window management, new features in Safari, updated Notes, Calendar apps and more.
