Dragon's Dogma 2 flaw may affect Monster Hunter Wilds: Capcom's new game doesn't support 60 FPS on consoles
Monster Hunter Wilds action game is attracting a lot of attention from the public and could very well be one of the best games of 2025. However, there is a possibility that console gamers might be disappointed with the game's performance.
Here's What We Know
Blogger Canta Per Me reported that during gamescom 2024 he got a chance to check out Monster Hunter Wilds on PS5 and stated that the game doesn't have a 60 FPS mode, so its smoothness may disappoint gamers.
Demo was on a ps5, didnt run at 60fps but felt like a stable 30fps

Since the PS5 is roughly comparable in power to the Xbox Series X, apparently this same issue affects US consoles as well.
Overall, there's nothing unexpected about Monster Hunter Wilds' 30 FPS, as Capcom released the Dragon's Dogma 2 RPG earlier this year, which is similar to Wilds in many ways, uses the same technology and yet doesn't support 60 FPS. Therefore, the blogger's information will most likely be relevant at the time of Monster Hunter Wilds' release.
However, it should be noted that this problem can be solved by the release of intermediate generation consoles. Recall, at the end of 2024 is expected to start sales of PlayStation 5 Pro, and there is a possibility that on this device you can run Monster Hunter Wilds at 60 FPS.
