Director of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 reveals that the game will feature a stronger version of Tifa's character
Naoki Hamaguchi, the director of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, has revealed his plans to emphasise the strength of Tifa Lockhart in the upcoming third instalment of the trilogy, Final Fantasy 7 Remake. He emphasised that Tifa will be presented as a much stronger character, which shows her significant development compared to the previous two parts.

Hamaguchi also noted that the third game will introduce a new game system in which Tifa will play a role. However, details about this system remain unknown.
Although Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth received positive reviews from critics upon its release on PS5 in February, reported sales fell short of Square Enix's expectations. The game reportedly sold half as many copies as its predecessor, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, during the same time period.
