The upcoming Avowed game will not support 60 FPS on Xbox Series consoles.

Art Director Matt Hansen explained that using 30 FPS makes the game more acceptable to the user, as it allows them to prioritise visual effects.

He also confirmed that the development team was happy with the result and confident in their decision. Although some players are disappointed with the lack of 60 FPS support in third-party Xbox games, it is not yet known whether Avowed will receive updates that may increase the frame rate after release.

Where To Play

Avowed will be available on Xbox Series PC.

The game will be released on the 11th of February next year.
