Not just the iPhone 16: Apple is testing 4 new Macs with M4 processor ahead of autumn launch

Apple is expected to Bloomberg: Apple will hold a presentation on 10 September, debuting the iPhone 16, Apple Watch 10 and AirPods 4, where it will present the iPhone 16 smartphones, Apple Watch Series 10 smartwatches, a new version of Apple Watch SE and updated Apple Watch Ultra, as well as two models of wireless headphones AirPods 4. However, traditionally the company holds not one but several presentations in autumn.

Here's What We Know

According to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, Apple is now actively testing four new Macs with M4 processor. These are likely to be the updated MacBook Pro, Mac mini and iMac, which are set to debut in October.

According to developer magazines, all four devices feature the base M4 chip and have either 16 or 32GB of storage.

That said, the insider doesn't mention the M4 Pro or M4 Max chips that will be used in the more expensive Mac mini and MacBook Pro models - apparently they just weren't seen in the developer logs.
