Oppo and OnePlus invite to the closed beta testing of ColorOS 15 and OxygenOS 15

Oppo and OnePlus have announced the start of registration from 23 to 25 August for closed beta testing of their new ColorOS 15 and OxygenOS 15 shells based on Android 15.

Owners of OnePlus 12 and Oppo Find X7 Ultra flagship models will be able to take part in the testing. The new versions of the shells promise a host of improvements, including a separate control centre for easier customisation, redesigned floating windows for multitasking and enhanced lock screen personalisation options.

It is also expected to introduce GPU interpolation technology for better visual performance and improved animations. In addition, Oppo may add a Live Photos app similar to what's available on Apple devices and an app for seamless file transfer between Apple and Android devices. Closed beta testing will allow a limited number of users to get early access to the new features, with public testing to begin later.
