Galaxy Tab A7 Lite has finally received the One UI 6.1 update in South Korea

While most Galaxy phones and tablets are awaiting the One UI 6.1.1 update, Samsung has released the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite tablet in South Korea, which will later be available in other regions.

Here's What We Know

The update includes the July 2024 security patch and has firmware version number T225NKOU8EXH2. It brings many new features for the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, such as the ability to edit wallpapers, set alarms using AR emoji, images or videos, and the ability to add up to two stickers per date in the Calendar app.

The reminders feature has also been improved, allowing you to customise notifications using images and colours. The Gallery app has improved search quality and the ability to synchronise groups of web browser tabs across all Galaxy devices has been added. The update also includes a new and improved Quick Share feature that integrates Google's Nearby Share and an improved Weather widget.

This is likely the last major software update for the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite, as the device has already received 3 Android OS updates since its release in mid-2021.
