YouTube Premium now allows you to skip ad inserts with the "Skip Forward" feature

YouTube Premium has introduced a new "Skip Forward" feature that allows users to skip ad segments and other frequently skipped parts of videos.

Here's What We Know

The feature, which uses artificial intelligence and user data, predicts which parts of a video viewers are most likely to skip. When a user clicks the "skip ahead" button, they are redirected to the next popular section of the video. The feature was initially only available to Android users in the US, but is now rolling out globally.

YouTube prioritises videos with more views, so not all videos will support this feature right away. The feature is aimed at improving the user experience by allowing you to jump to the point of interest in a video faster, while also serving as an advert for YouTube Premium itself.
