Funcom continues to publish materials about the ambitious multiplayer survival simulator Dune: Awakening. The developers released a spectacular and informative trailer, which allows you to find out the main features of the game.
Here's What We Know
The game starts with the creation of a character, after which the spaceship, which should deliver a nameless prisoner to the planet Arrakis, crashes and the hero begins his difficult journey. At first gamers will fight for life, searching for water, running away from sandworms and other dangers and hiding from the scorching sun, so as not to get heat stroke.
Over time, through ingenuity, resourcefulness, cunning and co-operation with other players, valuable equipment and the first funds can be obtained to set up a base and prepare for further challenges.
The third stage of development in Dune: Awakening promises to be the most interesting, because it is in this stage that the player will be able to participate in the most interesting expeditions, get the best equipment, build a large base, construct his own Ornithopter and explore the most dangerous places on Arrakis to return with valuable trophies.
After gaining experience and going through all the difficulties, the player will be able to join one of the influential Houses and create his own Guild to start fighting for the main resource that provides power on Arrakis - Spice.
