Paramount Pictures has unveiled a new trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 3, featuring the character Shadow, Sonic's evil doppelganger, voiced by Keanu Reeves.

Here's What We've Seen

Shadow is an alien who has suffered a personal tragedy, now filled with a desire for revenge. Sonic and Knuckles, who have become best friends, team up with Tales to confront Shadow. However, to defeat him, they have to work with Dr Robotnik, once again played by Jim Carrey. The trailer hints at a dark and tense plot where the characters face the anger and nihilism of The Shadow.

The film will be released in cinemas on December 20 and promises to be an exciting continuation of the franchise that began with the successful first film. Fans can expect plenty of action scenes and humour typical of the series.
