Google Photos is integrating Gemini for the Ask Photos feature: Feature close to release

At Google I/O in May, Google announced a new feature for Google Photos called Ask Photos.

Through integration with Google Gemini, this feature allows users to ask questions about photos in their library.

For example, you can ask: "What's my licence plate number?" and Google Photos will scan your photos for the information you need if they contain a car image.

After the announcement in May, the company did not specify the launch date of the feature. Now, news has emerged that the beta version of Google's Android app (version 15.33.36.29) contains lines of code that mention Ask Photos. This indicates that the feature may be close to release.

Ask Photos is expected to become popular and increase interest in the paid version of Google Gemini. Hopefully, the feature will not be available only by subscription.
