Galaxy A52 5G receives August security update in the US

Samsung has begun rolling out the August 2024 security update for its Galaxy A52 5G smartphone in the US. The update is intended for the carrier-supported variant of the device with the model number SM-A526U and contains fixes for 50 vulnerabilities.

Here's What We Know

The latest firmware version is A526USQUEGXG4.

Galaxy A52 5G users will receive a notification when the update is available, but if you don't want to wait, you can manually check for it via Settings, Software Update, Download and Install.

Samsung is expected to release a similar update for unlocked and international versions of the Galaxy A52 5G soon. It is important to note that this smartphone will no longer receive major OS updates such as One UI 6.1.1 or One UI 7.0 based on Android 15.
