OpenAI is preparing a new artificial intelligence Strawberry for ChatGPT this autumn
OpenAI is preparing to launch a new artificial intelligence codenamed Strawberry, which may become part of ChatGPT this autumn.
Here's What We Know
Strawberry, formerly known as Q*, has advanced mathematical and programming skills that surpass current solutions on the market.
An advanced version of Strawberry will also be used to train the next generation of the GPT-4 model, known as Orion.
OpenAI's goal is for the AI to maintain the same level of performance as the larger model, but be cheaper and easier to operate.
With the synthetic data that Strawberry can generate, OpenAI hopes to improve the quality of training data for its models and reduce the number of errors.
A less powerful version of Strawberry is expected to be released this autumn, but the exact release date is not yet known.
