Windows 11 24H2 update significantly improves gaming performance for AMD Ryzen processors
Microsoft's next major Windows 11 update brings significant gaming performance improvements for Ryzen processors. Version 24H2 promises speed improvements for both new and older AMD processor models.

According to Hardware Unboxed tests, the Ryzen 7 7700X (Zen 4) and the new Ryzen 7 9700X (Zen 5) show significant performance gains after the OS update.
In particular, the Ryzen 7 7700X on Windows 11 24H2 demonstrates 10% better results in games at 1080p, and the Ryzen 7 9700X - by 11%. Similar improvements are seen for other models such as the Ryzen 9 7950X and 7800X3D.
The 24H2 update is expected to roll out at the end of September and will be available to all users.
You can get it earlier by joining the Windows Insider programme. This way, Ryzen owners can literally download the improved performance of their processors with the new Windows 11 update.
