Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 received an M rating: the game will contain blood, swearing, sex and torture scenes

We wrote that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 received a new release date: the long-awaited game will be released on 11 February 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. However, despite the postponement, the game has already received an ESRB rating.

Here's What We Know

The ESRB, an organisation that evaluates and assigns age ratings to video games, has published more information about Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and its age rating.

The game has been rated "M" (playable from the age of 17). By the way, this rating was also assigned to the first part of Kingdom Come.

The website describes that players use swords, knives, crossbows, spears, and fists to kill enemies. The battles are accompanied by cries of pain, sounds of blows, and the effect of blood splashing.

It is also possible to carry out assassinations from close range (for example, by sneaking up on characters from behind to stab them or break their necks).

At the same time, the game contains some sexual content: characters are depicted partially naked (e.g., bare breasts, buttocks); fragments briefly show characters, both clothed and partially naked, having sex.

Even during the game, the player's character can receive and consume alcohol from a first-person perspective, which leads to a state of intoxication (e.g. screen blurring, swaying, hiccups).

Finally, it is worth noting that the game features scenes of torturing a character to get information from a word, and you can hear words such as "f**k" and "c*nt" during the game.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is a role-playing game that takes place in the midst of the chaos of the 15th century civil war in Bohemia. You'll play as Henry of Skelice, an ordinary guy who does extraordinary things when he gets caught up in an eventful story of revenge. So the hero will have an unforgettable adventure full of events, wonders and thrills. The game features authentic first-person battles, where you won't just be able to "click" the enemy's blows, as in most games.
