Famous Worms crawls onto consoles: a remaster of the fun tactical game Worms Armageddon (1999) has been announced

Team17 publishing house announced a remaster of the cult and very funny tactical game Worms Armageddon (1999), which will be available on consoles for the first time.

Here's What We Know

Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition will feature all the content of the original game with improved graphics, adapted interface, full controller support and crossplay between PlayStation and Xbox consoles of different generations.

Like the original game, Worms Armageddon matches can feature up to six player-worms, all of whom can choose different weapons and abilities. Almost every player action destroys part of the fancy map, so at the end of a match there may not be any of the original locations left.

Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition will also include a functioning version of the turn-based strategy game Worms Armageddon, which was once released on the Game Boy Color.

In addition, the game will feature an interactive museum where you can learn about the development of the Worms series and listen to interviews with the developers.

When We Can Expect It

Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition will be released on 26 September on PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
