LG unveils ThinQ ON smart hub with AI voice assistant

LG has unveiled its new ThinQ ON smart home hub, which will debut at IFA 2024 in Berlin.

Here's What We Know

The gadget is equipped with a built-in speaker and an AI voice assistant, which allows users to control not only LG appliances but also other smart home devices.

Thanks to the technology that "understands the context of conversations", the hub can take into account personal preferences, such as setting the desired thermostat temperature or selecting a favourite washing cycle.

ThinQ ON can also notify you when tasks are complete, such as when the drying cycle is finished.

ThinQ ON is Matter certified and supports Wi-Fi or Thread connections, making it easy to connect to a variety of smart home devices.

The LG ThinQ ON is compatible with over 1000 apps from the Homey App Store, enabling integration with products from a variety of brands.

So far, LG has not revealed the price and availability of the new product, but the presentation at IFA 2024 promises to attract the attention of visitors.
