France has signed a deal with Serbia to sell Dassault Rafale fighter jets.

This is reported by Radio Liberty. We are talking about 12 aircraft for the amount of 2.7 billion euros. By the way, initially Serbia wanted to buy Russian fighter jets, but after the invasion of Russia in Ukraine, it abandoned this idea. It is not yet known when deliveries of French planes will start.

The Dassault Rafale is a multi-role fighter jet developed by the French company Dassault Aviation. It made its first flight in 1986 and has been in service with the French Air Force and Navy since 2004. The Rafale is designed to perform a wide range of combat missions, including air superiority, ground and sea attack, reconnaissance and nuclear deterrence.
