Rumours: a Batman game set in Matt Reeves' universe is in development, but no details about the project are available

Batman (2022) by Matt Reeves and starring Robert Pattinson has become one of the best adaptations of the Dark Knight story. And this universe is already beginning to expand. In September, we will see the Penguin series, which will continue the story of Gotham after the film's finale, and in the future, we may see a Batman game in the Reeves universe.

According to new rumours shared by film insider Matthew Belloni, a Batman game in the Reeves universe is in development. However, it is not specified whether it will be an AAA game or a smaller project. The studio that is creating the game is also unknown.

So far, little is known about the game, but if a new Batman game is indeed in development, it would be better not to follow the failed path of Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad, as these games have shown that players are better off returning to the single-player Arkham formula.
