The iPhone 17 Pro Max could get 12GB of RAM and an evaporative cooling chamber

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed new details about the iPhone 17 Pro Max, which is the most premium model in the series.

Here's What We Know

It is reported that the device will be equipped with 12GB of RAM and it will be the only model in the lineup with this amount of storage. Also, the iPhone 17 Pro Max will get an upgraded cooling system with evaporative chamber technology and graphite sheets, which will provide better heat dissipation. The main advantage of the iPhone 17 Pro Max will be the artificial intelligence capabilities integrated in iOS 18. The iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to offer exclusive features not available in other models in the series.

In addition, the entire iPhone 17 lineup, as well as the budget SE4 model, will get 8GB of RAM. The iPhone 17 series smartphones may also get an updated 24 MP front camera and a six-piece lens, but it is not yet known if all models in the series will get the new camera or just some of them.

There are also rumours of an ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air or Slim model, which will replace the iPhone 17 Plus and will feature a slim body design. The iPhone 17 series is expected to be released in 2025 in early autumn.
