HP discontinues production of the HP Dragonfly Pro Chromebook, except for the $2000 model

The Chromebook market is experiencing a contraction, and it looks like HP has made a move that could further impact this segment. The company recently discontinued production of its high-end Chromebooks, leaving only one model in its portfolio - the HP Elite Dragonfly Chromebook.

Here's What We Know

The HP Dragonfly Pro, introduced last year as a premium model with powerful specs and an ultra-bright display, has disappeared from the market. This model was highly praised for its features, but now it is no longer available to buyers.

Currently, HP offers only one Chromebook with 16 GB of RAM - the HP Elite Dragonfly Chromebook, which has a starting price of more than $2000. Other models of the company have a maximum of 8 GB of RAM.

The company has focused on the Chromebook Plus line, which includes models with improved hardware, such as Intel Core i3 processors and 8 GB of RAM. HP continues to produce several models in this series, which are aimed at users looking for modern features and quality at reasonable prices.
