Infinix is preparing to launch an affordable Hot 50 5G smartphone with Dimensity 6300 processor

Infinix is gearing up to launch its new Infinix Hot 50 5G budget smartphone in India on 5 September and ahead of the announcement, the company has revealed some specifications of the device.

The phone will be available in three colours: blue, green and dark grey. It features a sleek design with flat edges and a narrow vertical camera unit on the back. The device is just 7.8mm thick, which the developer says makes it the thinnest 5G smartphone in its category. The phone is also IP54 dust and water resistant.

According to whistleblower @Sudhanshu1414, the smartphone will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, 4GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The phone is also said to be rated with TUV SUD A-Level 60-month fluency assurance, which guarantees a smooth performance for up to 5 years. The back will feature a dual camera setup with a 48 MP main sensor and an additional camera with artificial intelligence. The Infinix Hot 50 5G will be sold in India at a price of around $119.
